Anonymous Student

I love that it’s an everyday thing, and I look forward to my messages. Each one helps me learn perspective and improve my mental well-being.

Anonymous Educator

It seems to mirror whatever is going on in my life and the advice appears genuine. It’s like an angel is speaking to me through these words.

You have questions? We have answers.

+ How much does it cost?

+ Who pays for it?
+ -

The whole point of a school subscription is to insulate the end user from the cost of use, thereby eliminating barriers to entry and maximizing social impact! Naturally, we want Cope Notes to be free to your faculty, staff, and students.

In the past, we've seen local governments, education foundations, corporate sponsors, grants, and even parent-teacher associations supplement existing employee and student wellness funds to bring Cope Notes to a school or district.

+ Who should we give the subscriptions to?
+ -

How you distribute your subscriptions is 100% up to you!

For example, a given school might give subscriptions to staff, faculty, administrators, educators, school counselors and psychologists, social workers, students, their families, donors, volunteers, etc.

The content is appropriate for all ages, but we typically recommend sticking with ages 12+ for reading comprehension purposes.

+ Will you help us with onboarding / distribution?
+ -

Absolutely! In the past, we've done live talks, hosted webinars, led trainings, designed cobranded social graphics, participated in morning show announcements and on-campus assemblies, printed posters to hang in the hallways, written email copy, filmed features with local TV stations, and more to raise awareness about our collaboration and maximize our collective impact.

+ Do you provide usage data or success metrics?
+ -

You know it! Through your very own dashboard, no less.

At any given moment, you'll be able to view the total number of texts exchanged with your group, how many of your subscriptions have been redeemed, how many are still available, and more. We'll even produce an outcomes report for you to share with your school's financial leadership so you can prove how much bang you were able to get for your buck.

+ How do you handle crisis situations?
+ -

In keeping with federal recommendations, Cope Notes outsources all crisis services to the 988 Lifeline.

Subscribers can connect with a trained crisis counselor at the 988 Lifeline by replying to any Cope Notes text with the word HELP.

If a student or employee would prefer to contact the 988 Lifeline directly, they can call or text 988 at any time. Their services are 100% free and confidential.

If you are ever in an emergency situation, please dial 911.

+ What about HIPAA and parental consent?
+ -

HIPAA regulations apply to services that collect or store protected health information. As an anonymous resource, Cope Notes does not collect or store any protected health information, so parental consent is not required.
